CHESS BOOTCAMP WOODSTOCK

Waterloo Chess Academy is excited to present our Chess Bootcamp, building on our successful programs in Waterloo, Mississauga, London, and Guelph.

Offering a hands-on experience this spring to teach students the fundamentals of chess through engaging lessons with a professional chess coach!

In this program, students (ages 6 to 16) will:

• Master how to move pieces

• Learn the value of each piece

• Discover the golden moves of chess

• Understand essential tactical motifs

• Dive into basic openings

• Write chess moves and read chess books

• Use a chess clock

• Participate in your first tournament

By the end of this Chess 101 experience, you'll be ready to play with confidence.
