Waterloo Chess Academy is excited to present our Chess Bootcamp, building on our successful programs in Waterloo, Kitchener, London, and Guelph. Open to students from all schools in the GTA, this spring program will teach the art of chess through engaging, hands-on lessons taught by professional chess coaches.

    Ages: 6 to 16

    Prerequisite: Students must have basic knowledge of chess, including how the pieces move and their values.

Program Highlights:

  • Discover the golden moves of chess.

  • Understand essential tactical motifs.

  • Dive into basic openings.

  • Write chess moves and read chess books.

  • Use a chess clock.

  • Participate in their first tournament.

By the end of this program, students will confidently play chess and understand its fundamental strategies.
